I'm not sure how many of you heard or saw the news, but on Monday, my company--Novell--announced that they would be merging with another company: Attachmate Corporation.
In fact, I'm not even sure it's considered a merger. "Novell agrees to be acquired by Attachmate Corporation" is the formal announcement.
What this means for me, I'm not sure. I don't have any kind of permanent position with Novell (though it looked like that might happen for a little while). I really have enjoyed working for Novell, and I've met a lot of really great people and had a lot of really good experiences. My twenty-one months there have been really neat. And getting the job at Novell in the first place was such a huge blessing.
So even though my future (and Tyler's) is quite unknown at the moment, we really have just been so blessed. And whatever happens, we'll be okay.
