This is Why I Still Have a Facebook
I mean, c'mon. She's adorable.
I always thought my cheekbones came from the Rich family. Maybe they actually came from my mom.
Haha. I sometimes forget that Mom's hair color isn't her natural color. (Personally, I like her better with the lighter locks. I mean, look at how her eyes pop!)
Love you, Mom. Tell your friend Robyn that I said thanks for the photo.

Life Update
My dear bloggy friends, I'd like to offer you my sincere apologies for being less bloggy lately.
Just as a quick update on our lives at the moment. I'm just about 17 weeks along, and doing great. April 19th really can't come soon enough. I can't wait to know more about the little one who is going to be joining our family. I've been asked by a few people if I'm showing yet, and my answer is, sadly, no. I do look a little bit thicker around the midsection, but it just looks like I've been letting myself go, not helping a baby grow.
But no worries.
Soon, we will be moving to Spanish Fork to a beautiful apartment that offers all of my dream amenities (well, it will once we buy a washer and dryer--used, of course).
Speaking of washers and dryers . . . dang! New ones are expensive!! When I was talking to Tyler about the cost of them, we decided that it isn't worth it to spend so much of our savings buying something that we may not even have permanently.
Tyler is working for my Mom's husband (Jay) as a remote office assistant, and loving it. The best part, he works from home. (Which means I get to see more of him!)
And I recently talked with my boss about shortening my hours at work, so now I'm only going to be working in the afternoons--which I'm super stoked about. Mornings are really tough for me (still).
Anyway. Life is good. Stay tuned for our (awesomely exciting) April 19th update.

The Egyptian Flu
I don't know if you guys have heard of this one, so let me explain.
I've been pretty sick lately (which has kept me from blogging as often as I should be).
Because, you see, I have been suffering from the Egyptian flu . . .
(Wait for it . . .)
It's going to turn me into a mummy!
We find out the gender on April 19. (And you can bet your bottom dollar we'll be buying a DVD of that ultrasound.)
Tyler and I are absolutely thrilled.
Having a baby, of course means lots of changes.
The biggest one, and most soon to affect us is this: we're moving! Unless something comes up, we should be signing the contract for our new digs tomorrow, and we'll move in at the beginning of April.
Unfortunately, that means we'll have to leave our ward--which has been so awesome. I'm pretty sure that there is not a better ward out there than the Provo 4th ward. Tyler and I will both miss our callings--and the people we're working with--terribly. Hopefully some of them will keep in touch.
Anyway, feel free to ask any questions you want in the comments, and I'll address them in the next blog post (unless otherwise requested).
Happy day!

(I used to know more about how to straighten an image in Photoshop, but my memory is rusty. Looks like I'll need to find some online resources to re-learn how to use Photoshop.)
I know, I know, you guys want details about the baby.
Okay. So according to the measurements from the ultrasound technician, Baby H is 14 weeks and 4 days along in the above picture. So according to the doctor, the baby is due on September 2. However, babies never come when they are supposed to, so I'm rooting for September 6, which was the original due date of our wonderful Baby H. (After all, it is the best day of the year, right Aunt Mar?)

SLC Temple Day
So, I didn't see President Monson . . .
But I did get to see my sister sealed to the love of her life today. And that experience was incredible.
I'll give more details (and hopefully pictures) later. I took a ton of pictures on Marilyn's phone for our Dad to be able to see, so Tyler was in charge of my camera (which he hates). So, he didn't really take any pictures.
I got a few, but they aren't that great. This one is the best I got:

Here's to forever, you crazy kids!

Strange Dreams
I've had a couple very strange dreams lately; and I think about them both from time to time.
The first-was strangely bizarre.
The dream takes place in my Texas hometown. For whatever reason, I am in my little town (city, really) and I hear the news that a great, man-eating shark has escaped and is on the loose. The whole dream, I am terrified to go anywhere, for fear that I'll run into it. In my mind (in my dream) I start going over various scenarios in which I might run into this shark, and I try to figure out how I would fight it off. All I can think about is that it will probably bite my feet off if I try to kick it. Part of me wonders how the shark is loose in my hometown--we don't live by the ocean, though there are a couple of nearby lakes . . . but in my dream, the shark is loose on the streets. I either figured out (or someone told me) that because the shark had eaten so many men, it had grown lungs and could breathe without being in the water. I don't remember if I actually ever ran into the shark, because I woke up during the dream before anything too crazy could happen.
The second was strangely wonderful.
This dream, comes, I think, because I have really been missing going to the temple regularly. (I've been pretty sick lately, but that's another post.)
Anyway, in this dream, we (Tyler and I) are participating in some ward function where we are going to the Salt Lake Temple (which I've never been inside of before--and am very excited to see when my sister gets married in a couple days). And in my dream, the temple is gorgeous. It is absolutely the most beautiful place I've ever been in. The beauty of it all practically takes my breath away, and I am staring at everything. As I look around me, I notice a beautiful water feature (remember, this is a dream) with like . . . a fountain within a fountain within a fountain. (That's the best way I can think to describe it.) And as I'm taking it in, some huge revelation about the importance of the number 3 (which does actually have biblical significance) is about to click in my mind--and we are ushered onward into the temple. As we're going along, Tyler and I write out a check for our monthly tithing, but we, for some reason, neglect to get a tithing slip and envelope. Suddenly, President Thomas S. Monson appears to collect all of our tithing, and Tyler and I scramble to find an envelope and tithing slip. But being the wonderful man that he is, President Monson patiently waits for us to get what we need, and even offers his assistance. Once we do get everything together, he chatted with us (ok--just me . . . it was my dream after all) he started asking me about why I've been so sick lately. And in my mind (in my dream) I'm thinking, "Hey!! I didn't tell him about this. And he knows!! He really is a prophet." We laugh and chat a little more, and then my dream ends, and I wake up.
Seriously I woke up so happy from that dream. I might have even shed a happy tear or two. It really put me in such a good mood (something I've been sorely in need of).
At any rate, I have no idea what these dreams may mean (if anything). But despite their strangeness, I really liked them. (Even though the shark dream was a little scary.) And I do think about them from time to time.
If anyone has any magical interpretations of these dreams, I'd love to hear them. Because really . . . a shark loose in Texas? The prophet collecting my tithing? Just weird. Weird weird weird.
