I've been pretty sick lately (which has kept me from blogging as often as I should be).
Because, you see, I have been suffering from the Egyptian flu . . .
(Wait for it . . .)
It's going to turn me into a mummy!
(I used to know more about how to straighten an image in Photoshop, but my memory is rusty. Looks like I'll need to find some online resources to re-learn how to use Photoshop.)
I know, I know, you guys want details about the baby.
Okay. So according to the measurements from the ultrasound technician, Baby H is 14 weeks and 4 days along in the above picture. So according to the doctor, the baby is due on September 2. However, babies never come when they are supposed to, so I'm rooting for September 6, which was the original due date of our wonderful Baby H. (After all, it is the best day of the year, right Aunt Mar?)
We find out the gender on April 19. (And you can bet your bottom dollar we'll be buying a DVD of that ultrasound.)
Tyler and I are absolutely thrilled.
Having a baby, of course means lots of changes.
The biggest one, and most soon to affect us is this: we're moving! Unless something comes up, we should be signing the contract for our new digs tomorrow, and we'll move in at the beginning of April.
Unfortunately, that means we'll have to leave our ward--which has been so awesome. I'm pretty sure that there is not a better ward out there than the Provo 4th ward. Tyler and I will both miss our callings--and the people we're working with--terribly. Hopefully some of them will keep in touch.
Anyway, feel free to ask any questions you want in the comments, and I'll address them in the next blog post (unless otherwise requested).
Happy day!

I've always envisioned you not only as a divine daughter of God, but also as a Mother in Zion. I'm proud of you and of my wonderful son-in-law, Tyler. According to our calculations you only have about 20 Friday Night Dates B.C. (Before Children). So do your best and maybe even chronicle each of your Friday nights between now and the arrival of Baby Heasley. I love you Kare-Bear
I just read your mother's comment and now I am in tears.
I can't even express how happy I am for all of us. It brings me such joy that Tyler chose YOU as the mother of his (and your :) children.
Your life is about to change forever (and for the better I might add). So take advantage of those 20 B.C. Fridays.
soooo excited for you guys!!!
I am soooo excited for you!! I WISH that you were right around the corner so I could bring you everything you might be craving. Congrats congrats. Congrats! Baby H is already so stunning. What a profile!
Congratulations. I am so happy for you.
Congrats!! I am so excited for you guys!
AAAh! You're pregnant!! I am so happy for you guys!! Congrats. :) :)
I am very happy about your baby and my grandchild. I look forward to spoiling Baby Heasley at every opportunity. Seriously, I am grateful you and Tyler will be able to provide a home for this gift from Heavenly Father.
Bwahahaha!! Hurray for the Egyptian Flu!!! I'm gonna be an aunt!!! I'm so excited for you guys. Bummed that your new digs are not in Texas though.... But I have to say that I am madly in love with SoCal and am begging Adam to let me stay here... Anyway, congrats!! I love you both. I love seeing the first picture of my niece/nephew!!
Karen and Tyler!!! So , so happy for you both! This is such wonderful news! We need to come down there and see you!
We are so very happy for the both of you! We can't wait to meet little H! Where are you guys moving to?
Amy
Congrats!!! That is so exciting! Clara's birthday is September 3, so I'm rooting for that day. It's a great time for a birthday because so far it's always been on Labor Day weekend (wouldn't you love to go into labor in labor day?) and therefore she gets a long weekend of celebrating!
I am SO very excited for you both and your families! I cannot wait to meet my great-nephew or niece.
You have already started adjusting your life and making decisions that will be better for your child (and family) and that is what parents do! I'm sorry that you will have to move out of your good ward but I am happy that you will be able to live in a new place. And you will love the next ward too because that is your way.
And although I DO love the best day of the year and I was so very excited that you were originally due on that date, I would NOT want you to have to endure one extra day of pregnancy, so I hope you will not be overdue at all!
I had to laugh at Julie's comment because I was born on Labor day! And I love it. But this year, Labor Day falls on the 5th.
Lots and lots of love to both (make that all three) of you!
Aunt Mar~
So excited for you and Tyler!!! You will be wonderful parents. Get lots of sleep while you can, pretty soon you will be too uncomfortable to sleep much, and then the baby comes and that kind of puts a cramp in the whole sleeping thing, too! :-)
