For conference, Tyler and I had an unexpected twist--
Friday night, my aunt (favorite) calls me to let me know that my uncle and cousin will be in town for General Conference and that if I have a way to get to Salt Lake, I could go to Conference with them!
So, naturally, I wanted to know if Tyler could come too... and we had tickets for everyone! It was so nice of my Uncle Jonathan to let us join him and Ashton.
I wanted to grab my camera to take pictures of us all together, but I left the house in a hurry. Sorry, guys.
Conference was great. I took tons of notes. Loved it! And afterward, Uncle Jonathan took us out to eat at Training Table. It was soooo good. And so cool! You order your food by telephone!! At each table, there is a little phone. Just pick it up and order. Then, they call you when it is ready.
We came back to Provo, and missed about... the first half of the second session? But caught the last bit.
Then we slept! We were so tired. Tyler was on one couch, and I was on the other. Luckily, he woke up in time to go to Priesthood session. (Without being late! Tender mercy?)
And I had a girls' night with the roommates! We played Disney's Scene It... SOOO fun. And... Look!!!

Cool, huh? And yes, my face is crooked. Just don't look too closely. (Oh yeah. I got a haircut... It's not my fav. But with curls... yeah!)
Tyler liked it.
And how fun to be curly! I never have curls! This is the best! SO feminine... despite my boyish haircut.

You look cute with curls; course you are always cute. I am surprised to see it so short though.
I am glad that you were able to meet up with Jonathan and Smash. They too enjoyed it very much. I wish you would have had your camera too, I forgot to send one with the boys...ya, me...can you believe it? (And I border on OCPD - Obsessive Compulsive Photography Disorder...hee, hee).
I am sure you had to miss Elder Holland's talk on Saturday afternoon. Go online and view it if you get a chance. It was such a beautiful talk.

Yeah... I was bummed that we missed part of Conference. But, I'm going to get my own copy so that I can review all of conference, and mark all over it.
I'll definitely look over Elder Holland's talk for sure.
You're so lucky!! I don't think I've ever gotten to attend conference in person. Definitely something I would like to do. And how cool is it that you got to go with Jonathan and Smash? Very cool. I must admit I am a bit jealous. I watched conference thinking about the stories you've been telling me about your experiences with some of our general authorities. It made them more real.
