One of My Less Awesome Days

When I woke up this morning, I felt terrible.

My throat was sore. My stomach hurt. My head felt awful!

I seriously contmplated skipping class today, to get some healing rest.
But then I remembered that attendance in class really matters. I'd lose points if I didn't go. And we have a test this week in one of my classes.

So I convinced myself to go.

I continued getting ready, but listlessly. I decided that doing my hair just really wasn't necessary. So, I pulled it back and threw on my Rich's hat.

(I felt like no one noticed me today in my hat. Like it was a disguise. People's eyes slid right over me. But it has my name inscribed on the front! In HUGE letters! How did they miss me? But, since I wasn't feeling well, I decided it would be okay not to be noticed.)

My first class today was really enjoyable. But afterwards, I was really tired. I decided to stay outside and read a book for my upcoming class, and nap on the grass if I needed to.

But the grass was still wet. So I sat on a little brick wall and read and slept.

When I woke up, I realize that I had sat on something yellow and sticky. Luckily it was on my undershirt more than my pants, and not at all on my actual shirt. How that happened, I'll never know.

But I was grateful that I could hide it. I didn't want to go home and change, nor did I wish to buy new clothing.

My other two classes went well. They were enjoyable-- as always.

And now, here I am. Blogging. Ready to nap. And do some more reading.

Wish me well, good readers. Though, I'm sure I'll feel better tomorrow.

I'm sorry you are feeling sick. :((
Tell Tyler to get you some Airborne and some chicken soup. Must have been really hard going to class today feeling like that, and sleeping on a brick wall with yellow sticky stuff. Not the best day you are having :(

Hi Karen. I hope you feel better soon. And make sure you get lots of sleep. Don't push yourself too hard. I'm glad you enjoyed your classes, though. I want a Rich's hat. How cool is that to wear your grandpa's logo?

Super cool. Supercool. It makes your cool points go up by a million. And a half.

I may have an extra, I will look.

Karen,
are you feeling any better?
I hope so. You can only go for so long neglecting your body and then IT, the BiG IT, catches up to you and IT is NOT pleasant!
I love you,
Aunt Mar~
