So, since Tyler and I are not together anymore, I am re-entering the dating world.
I hate it. I am so done with dating.
My first date was last week-- a double with Michelle. It was fun... but... my date was just not quite my type. He was cute, fun, kind, but just not the guy for me. Truthfully, he was just so ... young. It was kind of a letdown, actually. I had been looking forward to going out with him, but then, when we did... It just didn't go as well as it ought to have.
And I just got home from a dollar movie blind date. My friend Melina called up Michelle tonight, and suddenly I was roped into a date. Melina went with her boyfriend, and I went with his cousin. The cousin was nice, but ... femmy. Seriously, way not my type. At all.
And the movie was awful. I hadn't heard of it. 21... don't waste your life on it. At least it was free for me, right? My date talked during the movie. Usually I hate that, but for this movie... It needed some commentary. Bad acting, bad morals, bad message, bad/predictable plotline....
And, Aunt Mar, I have not heard from Hector in at least a week. We texted for about a day, then I never heard from him again. Oh well.
FHE went well tonight... As well as can be hoped, at least. Again NO girls showed up. We knocked on their doors and nothing. And it was planned really last minute. (I know, I planned it.) We played the chocolate game. I had never played it with boys before... they get into it. Apparently some boys like chocolate more than some girls.
Moral of the story: I need to disinfect our coffee table now. But it was fun. AND we came up with some good ideas for next week.
Monday, we will be playing capture the flag with glowsticks in the dark. Yay night games!
And I do really appreciate the people who come to FHE. They add a lot, truly.
Anyway, the theme of life at the moment: I am so tired of dating. And ready to be done with school.
And I'm sorry to seem so cheer-less. Life is good. And I am happy. But, I could be happier. I'm just waiting for everything in its right place.

I'm sorry you are having bad dates, but at least you are dating... FHE will go better as you get used to being in charge. And if the girls continue to refuse to show up, well, that means more boys for you and Michelle!! I love you and I hope you feel better soon. Things will settle down, and eventually I will be there to beat up the stupid boys for you!! (Actually, I think you're better at that than me...)
What the Hector???
Have you sent a text to him?
Send one asking when the date that your aunt set you up on is going to happen. Tell him he doesn't een need to talk or anything, just feed you some of his delicious italian food!
Sorry that you are missing you know who, hang in there, keep trying.
love you,
Aunt mar~
