So sometimes, Utah plays tricky games. Like yesterday... The weather was beautiful. It was absolutely wonderful. I loved it.
Today, it is dreary-ish. I'm still hoping that the weather will perk up.
Guess what I did yesterday? I went running with Michelle. And by went running, I mean that sometimes we ran and sometimes we walked. Boy am I out of shape. This is something that needs to change.
Also... I dyed Easter eggs yesterday at FHE. My fingers were green all night long. I loved it. Both of my eggs say, "Karen Rocks" because, well... I do.
Mom came this past weekend. We had a lot of fun. The first two days she was here, I was very busy. I had two essays that I had to write. Both turned out terribly, but I didn't care; my mom was there!
We went to WalMart and she got groceries for me.
Then Saturday, we went to Salt Lake to do some shopping at the Gateway Mall. We took Michelle with us, and had a blast. Though, we only stayed at Gateway for a couple hours... it's an outdoor mall, which is sweet, but it's basically Grapevine Mills. The only store that I liked at Gateway was Old Navy.
After going to Gateway, we went to Sandy to shop instead. Now, that mall, my friends, is a good mall. That mall is more like Vista Ridge. I approve.
Sunday... we had pot roast. YUM! We invited Paige's sister Ashley to join us, along with Tyler, Carly and Curtis. (Then of course, Paige and Michelle were there, too. Kassie was in Colorado with her family.)
Oh! Laundry! brb.
Ok. Man, I can't wait until I'm all grown up and have a washer and dryer and dishwasher of my own. That's all I need in life to be happy.
Anyway, I am going to go get some cleaning done before class.
I miss you guys on the home front. Hope you are doing well.

Love the update! Thanks, thanks! I have been waiting for you and Marilyn to give some more news.
I hope some of your Home evening family did not think that you wrote on your eggs "KAREN'S rocks" 'cause they could be worried about you now if they think you don't know the difference between hard-boiled eggs and rocks. :)
As far as malls go, Stonebriar takes the cake...not the pan-cakes, just cake.
Speaking of cake, in honor of your running with Shell, you could name them run-cakes, ooo, never mind, that sounds like you eat and then get the runs...not good!
I am very punchy and it is still early evening here, I had better stop now before I embarrass you any further.
Love you,
Aunt Mar~
Glad you had fun with your mom while she was there!
I haven't slept very well lately, so I have to say I was rolling on the floor when I read Aunt Mar's post. Good one, Aunt Mar!! Karen's rocks... haha... I'm glad you had fun with mom. She was so happy to get to spend time with you. I'm excited, cuz I only have a little over a month and then I get to come too!! Love you!!!
