Our ward is having a Christmas party this weekend, and I thought that I would ask our Relief Society president if there was anything they still needed help with. So when she paused for a moment, then said, "We still need cookies, and I hear you have a great cookie recipe," I was thrilled. I mean, sure, it's not MY recipe. And Tyler came up with the best part of the cookies (half chocolate chips, half butterscotch chips). But still. It made me feel like I've accomplished something. I went from terrible, un-shareable cookies to delectable, respectable cookies. Maybe it's silly. But it still made me feel really good. People like my cookies. They've heard I have a good recipe. It's almost like I'm a legend. (Ok, maybe that's a little too far. But it is cool. And like I said, it really did make me feel good. Even though, again, I can't really take credit for how good these cookies are.)
Anyway. I posted the recipe for these cookies awhile ago. It's here, if you want to check it out. Tried and true. Relief Society approved.
Looks like I'll be making these babies again this week. (Note: Tyler actually made the cookies in the photo above.)

Oh! I'm flattered! Thanks for linking up to me! :)
I made these last time you featured them on your blog. Of course I had to give them away since I can't do chocolate, but they were all so well received! Den loves them too.
