But we weren't prepared for what we saw.
I don't think anyone could have been prepared for what we saw.
Tons and tons of ducks.
Everywhere.
Ducks as far as the eye can see.
Ducks that were not shy.
They walked/swam right up to us.
Especially when we started throwing food to them.
But here's the thing. We didn't really plan to feed any ducks. So we only had a handful of rice puffs to share. And really, those belonged to Richie (who I don't think actually wanted to share his snack).
So we ran out of food quickly.
And naturally, when we were out of food, we decided to leave.
But the ducks weren't done with us. They started chasing after us! They wanted more food!
That duck there ^ meant some serious business.
I'll admit, it was a little terrifying. And a little Hitchcockian.
*Note: Objects in camera were closer than they appeared.
But, we did escape unscathed. (Although, once I turned the camera off, I did run a little to put some distance between myself and those crazy ducks.)
Who knew? And how did those ducks get there? Do the people who live in that house know the ducks are there? Are the ducks the reason why those people are putting their house up for sale? Are those ducks part of some evil super-villain's plot to take over Logan?
Considering how small the legs of those ducks are, they ran pretty fast.
And even if it was a little unnerving, seeing that many ducks was still pretty cool.
Although, I really don't think I'd want to live in that house.

That is too funny! Glad you got away ;)
This is too weird. I've never heard of such a thing. We woke up once to find 2 ducks in our pool and that was major excitement around here. I can't imagine having a lawn full of them!
Wow. That was some adventure. Next time take more food.
Karen, you need to add some dramatic music to this post...like maybe the music from "Jaws."
