I've said it before and I'll say it again. I am a (responsible) procrastinator.
Procrastination has always been something I've struggled with. Even my dad made a comment once about how he knew if he asked me to do something that I'd absolutely do it--I just might not get it done right away.
And I will. I will always get the things done that I set out to do, it just might take me a while to get started (and/or finished) with whatever I'm trying to do.
For example, Tyler and I have been married for a little over two years. And what did I finally do today?
I ordered my wedding pictures!!
First of all, I want to give a HUGE thank you to our wedding photographer, Kevin Ryan, who was absolutely wonderful when I contacted him about still being able to order wedding pictures. After all, they were purchased a couple of years ago; if he had charged me a fee for doing my pictures so long after the fact, I wouldn't have protested.
Also, I owe an apology to my mother-in-law, Jill, for taking so long to order the pictures. After all, she and Dennis were the ones to give us the gift of our wedding pictures.
I will say that part of the reason why it took me so long to actually order my official pictures is because the original pictures Kevin took for the order CD were so dang good. I have no idea what edits (if any) he will make; and I am not even sure there are any (other than the specific pictures I've asked to be altered) that he even needs to edit.
But, I never felt right with the idea of ordering pictures off the order CD on my own. After all, he's the photographer, and he owns the images until he tells me otherwise. So soon, I will have physical pictures to make into a wedding album. (And three months till my baby is born to be able to do it. Assuming I don't procrastinate too much.)
The moral of the story is: I highly recommend Ryan Photography in Fresno.
The other moral of the story is: I'm very lucky that my procrastination has never gotten me into too much trouble. (Which is how I can claim that I'm a responsible procrastinator.)
