Saturday - Holidays with the Husband

One thing that I love about Tyler is his love for Holidays, especially Halloween and Christmas. Because we are college students, we don't feel like we have a whole lot of money for decorating our house when holidays come. But for Christmas and Halloween, we're willing to make a few little sacrifices to have some holiday cheer.

Check out our pumpkin from Halloween:

Looks good, no? Tyler did an awesome job carving the pumpkin. (The character we carved is Vliq - pronounced "Chuck" in his language. He's the main character from the comic Tyler created in high school.)

And he looks good carving that pumpkin, don't you think?

Yes. Yes he does.

And I, of course, rescued the pumpkin seeds. (Pumpkin seeds are my favorite treat on Halloween. Possibly my favorite treat ever. I love love love them.)

(Sorry the pic is blurry. And also that I'm in my Pj's.)

Ok. Moving on.

So now, we have Christmas coming up. And since we didn't decorate for Christmas last year, we decided we absolutely had to decorate our living room this year. Check it out:

I love our little tree. It's only about three feet high. And it's perfect.

:) I love Christmas. And our living room makes me so happy.

Anyway, I love holidays. And I love celebrating them with Tyler.

Your living room is adorable!!! I love the strings of lights on the ceiling and your tree is precious. It looks great. I need to get decorating too! Though I doubt I will come up with anything nearly as cute.
