Not too long ago, Oprah offered a sweet deal to viewers of her show. Although I'm not a regular viewer (and we only get one channel yet never watch it), I decided to take advantage of her offer.
Heck, if she wants me to have snow boots for fifty percent off, I'm all for it. As a poor college student, I'm all about discounts.
So, on October 30, Tyler took me to Payless Shoes, where I waited in line for an hour and a half to buy snow boots for half off.
But get this. I think that there must have been some additional promotion--because along with the 50% discount, the cashier took off an additional $10. (Or maybe it was all a part of the Oprah deal; I'm not sure.)
At any rate, my new boots that were originally $40 only cost me $14.
And they are so warm, and so comfortable.

Oprah may get her name in the post, but I'm glad I could be there with you. Well, in and out of the store occasionally, yes, but with essentially with you.
