Ok. . . despite the pictures, today really was productive.
- I attempted to go visiting teaching (but our teachee stood us up).
- I did all of our dirty laundry.
- I practiced sewing (fixed a broken tank top strap, repaired the hem of a shirt, and sewed up some holes in the sleeves of one of my shirts). I'm definitely in need of some new thread though. . . none of the threads I used matched the color of the material I was sewing. Christmas presents, maybe? Yes, consider spools of thread on my Christmas list. How much do those cost, anyway?? And I must say, for doing it all sans sewing machine, I did all right. I mean, my fixing is pretty noticeable, but I figure, hey-- I'm a college student. I'm allowed to look poor. And besides, one day, I'll learn how to sew for real.
- I did some research for a paper that I'll be writing at the end of the semester.
- I worked on my historical context paper that's due Tuesday.
- I tried a new food adventure! (Note: it was a TOTAL failure. I was really craving a tuna melt, which I used to get at this place--that is now closed--back home. So I thought I'd make my own version. It was gross. I ate what was salvageable, then toasted some pop tarts to get the gross taste out of my mouth. Anyone know a good place to get a good tuna melt? I want one SO much. . . .)
- I went shopping (with Tyler) to get the stuffs for CAFE RIO BURRITOS!!! (Thanks Jill and Sister missionaries! We've had that recipe for a while, but the sisters gave me the courage to try! Stay tuned for tomorrow's update on How Our Cafe Rio Imitation Turned Out.)
- I chatted with my dad for a while via texting and talking on the phone. I sure miss him.
- And I had a good long conversation with by BFF from home, Carly. (While laundering--clothes, not money.)
At this point, I feel like if I've left anything out, I'll be lying by omission.
My apologies for anything I've not included. . . but I'm thinking that you have all had enough for tonight. So, good-bye for now! And, my fair readers, have a great night!!

Your Saturday sounds about as exciting as mine. I corrected papers, did laundry, put things away and I think I watched a little TV.
