As part of my new house-wifing journey, I have taken it upon myself to try cooking new things.
Today's adventure? Vegetable beef stew.
"Now," you say, "how hard can it be to mess up stew?"
And I say, "Well, sans recipe, anything is possible!"
But, I will be making my old roommate's tried and true easy homemade roll recipe. . . just in case.
Please pray for my stew, that it will be delicious. I seem to have made enough for a small army. And since no one will come to our house for dinner (*AHEM Smith family!*), we may be eating on the stew for about a week.

I wish we lived nearby...I'd love to eat it. I hope you let us know how it works out. Sounds wonderful to me!!
I agree with what Jill said. I always like food that other people make.
Yummy! Good for you! How did it all turn out?
I hope we'll be able to see eachother soon!
And? How was it?
I'm sure it was delicious!
Have fun in your "house-wifing journey!" I sure have!
Let me know if you need recipes to try out. Although, I have been feeding a small army for years so I tend to serve it up in rather large quantities!
Lots of love to both of you!
Kris-- I agree! We need to get together again. I'll talk to Tyler and see what we can plan out. Maybe we can get McKay to bring McKenna so you guys can meet her, too. (You would really like her!)
Sweet! Matthew's baptism is the first weekend in September. Do you think you may be able to make it?
