I think that number one on my gratitude list for today is socks!
Today was a rainy day in Provo. And, boy did my feet get cold. (And wet!)
I had a test this morning, and then a two hour break before my next class. I knew I had to go home to get a homework assignment for one of my later classes, and I really needed a nap... So, I decided to take advantage of my two hours and left campus. Because of the rain, my feet got a little wet... despite my shoes and thick socks.
And, because I need to do laundry... I'm out of socks.
OR SO I THOUGHT~!
Michelle asked me if she could borrow my cute black hat that I bought freshman year. I was glad to let her use it. (I think it actually looks better on her...)
I have a box of winter things under my bed that my hat was in. When I pulled it out, I found clean, DRY(!) socks.
They are my Christmas socks from my sister last year. They are a mixture between socks and slippers. And I love them. (Mar: tell mom that this is what I want for Christmas. More of these socks!) They kept my feet warm and dry all day long!!

I love socks too!! And it was cold and rainy here today too. I'm glad you found those socks. How are your classes? I miss you!!
Here you were trying to help someone else by letting them wear your hat, and you found some socks that you needed and forgot you had! So often it works like that. I'm enjoying reading your gratitude lists!
