You see--he's figured out that he can roll pretty much anywhere he wants to go. And seriously, guys, he's days away from crawling. I'm sure of it.
But anyway, he's pretty mobile, and I can't keep my eye on him all the time. Especially when I'm chained to the wall. So, Bones and I felt like getting a jumperoo would help keep Richie occupied while helping him work some muscles and entertain his brain while I'm busy doing other things.
And for the longest time, he'd just kind of stand in the jumper, playing with some of the little toys attached. He loves being upright. And he loves the music and the lights and the other noises the jumper makes.
Plus he looks so dang cute in this thing.
And finally, after about two weeks in this thing, he's figured out that he can do more than stand in this thing.
Check out his first time really "jumping."
(Sorry for the movie quality.)
I think it's so cute how he looks like he's running.
But he's really starting to get the hang of it now. And he loves it.
Seriously, this jumperoo was definitely worth the money we paid for it. Thank you Target. And thank you to those of you who have given us Target gift cards. We used the last of our Target gift card money to buy this thing. So besides the gift card money, it only cost us $1.90. Awesome! (Thank you again!)
In other news, Rich is now a thumb sucker! (Although he still loves his binky and needs it to be able to fall asleep.)
Totes adorbs. Also, I promise my apartment isn't always in a constant state of mess. But whenever photo opportunities are present, it always seems to be a little disastery. Hope that doesn't offend anyone.
Also, I got my hair cut! I didn't plan on getting it cut this short (ever again, actually), but I told Maranda (the best hair stylist in Utah, in my opinion) that if she had any fun ideas, she could go for it.
So a pixie she did. And I love it. It really only takes me about 5 minutes to style. Maybe 10 if I'm trying to dress it up a little.
I cut my hair off back when I was pregnant and only liked it some of the time.
But this hair cut I love all of the time. I think the key here is that Maranda has been cutting my hair for three years (yes, I did go to Provo and get my hair cut), and she picked a style that would work for me. Instead of me trying to pick a style that might work for me.
Anyway. Tyler says this is the best haircut I've ever had. Which is awesome. Easy to style and Tyler's favorite? I'd have to agree. This might be my favorite hair style since my mom first took me to a salon to get my hair done when I was 17 (Tessa was the name of my hair stylist then. I used to miss her hair cuts all the time until I found Maranda.)
Anyway. Life is awesome.
Other Provo pictures to come soon.

Hurray for Richie being a thumb sucker! I tried to get all 4 of my sons to join that club but none of them were interested. I love the fact that he'll always have it with him, and can self soothe.
So fun to watch him moving those little legs!
Your hair is very cute. But you are one of those rare women who can look good no matter how it is cut.
I love seeing Richie so happy! He looks like he's having so much fun. And... I love your hair!

What a darling post! Too (two) much cuteness in one post!
He is a doll and is growing so quickly.
And you look darling in your new 'do.
I like it better than the last short cut you got.
It really does look great on you and I am so happy that you are enjoying it!
Richie is just too cute! I love that he is so engaged and excited by his jumper. Also, a a former thumb sucker, I have to say I approve of Richie's new habit.
