Ever since I was little, my favorite sleeping position has been to sit down and cross my legs (we used to call this sitting "Indian-style"--I'm not sure what the PC version of this name is now), and then to fold my body over my legs, tucking my arms underneath my torso.
Let me tell you, this position = maximum warmth/comfort. (Unless your legs fall asleep, which sometimes happens. But even then, it's still comfy.)
And I missed it SO much while I was pregnant. I'd try to get away with sleeping like that temporarily, or even just resting that way for a few minutes, but it would make me sick to my stomach.
Well, I'm quite happy to announce that I can sleep this way again! It's marvelous. I've missed it. In fact, as I type, I'm sitting on my bed in my favorite position. (I admit, I was worried that I'd lose my flexibility since I couldn't sit this way for so long. But happily, it's still very comfortable.)
Anyway. Happy Sunday, everyone!

First off, you must be way flexible because that does not sound comfortable to me at all. Second, I LOVE sleeping on my stomach and I remember being so ecstatic to resume that position after Clara was born, so I can relate. Third, the PC version of Indian style is "criss-cross applesauce," at least in the pre-school world.
I'm so happy you can be you again...even though I think it will lead to back problems!
I didn't know you did that too!!
