Random Act of Culture - Handel's Messiah

(I did start this post yesterday, so hopefully it still counts for Gratitude Day 5)

I wish that I could have been a part of this (or at least been a witness).

I found the above video yesterday while I was scrolling through Google Reader, and it absolutely made my day. I love love that the "Random Act of Culture" - singing Handel's Messiah - brought so much joy to so many people. And what a wonderful way to bring that joy! By bearing pure testimony of the Savior!

I am so grateful for the good people of this world, who are striving to make a positive difference. I love what President Monson said in his talk on Gratitude:

This is a wonderful time to be on earth. While there is much that is wrong in the world today, there are many things that are right and good . . . . Our lives are blessed in countless ways.

I think he absolutely is right. There is so much good and beauty in the world. One thing that I love about the video is that you can see the joy that this brought to so many people. I am sure that many people were touched by the beauty of the music, and by the Spirit that was surely in attendance as the various choir members sang.

Beautiful.
