Okay... updating.... now!

First lets start with the move... When did I get so much stuff? I never really sit and think about how much I actually have...

A TON!! I was worried about getting everything moved. (This is me in
front of most of my stuff... Clearly I am very concerned.)

Shelly here, is proud of all of her things. ... Okay, she was concerned too.

But it didn't actually take us as long as we thought it would to move. We got everything moved from Park Plaza to Glenwood in about two and a half hours. (Thanks, Tyler and Cole!)

But then, came the unpacking.

Remember how we have so much stuff!? We are really good packers, apparently. Because unpacking, we realized we didn't have room enough in our new apartment for everything.

Just look:

Ridiculous, no? Eventually we did get things more organized. We both decided to make our beds. One thing that Shell and I have noticed is that making your bed really does a lot for the room. It made me feel a lot better.

(Confession: I was kind of freaking out as we moved. Like, there were moments that I just felt like bursting into tears. I think it really scared Michelle that I was having such a hard time with the transition. I'm supposed to be the brave one, and clearly I was having a hard time. She was extra cheerful as we unpacked. It was her idea to make our beds. She wanted things to start feeling more like home. It helped a LOT. Like, after my bed was made, I finally felt more at ease.

I think that I just wasn't feeling welcome yet, and I was in a totally unfamiliar place.

Putting my comforter down was really comforting. Whoever invented comforters was a genius. They definitely knew what they were doing.) I admit, it's not the best job I've ever done. And I have changed a few things since then, but it really helped so much.

Things began to look a lot better. After Shelly and I clean our room, I'll take another picture, and you can see just how cute our room is becoming. Here's a sneak preview. (It's much cuter now.)

Love the update! I am glad you had help moving, and I am sorry it was so stressful. I hate moving. Your room looks very cute already. Good thing you have such a good roommate... Take your time making it homey so you won't feel so stressed. If you still need help, I'll be there next week!!
